This material is translucent sheets that come with a peel & stick adhesive and are about
5" x 8".  They're made by me using a trade secret process I developed. Special printed material
is laminated to polycarbonate and total thickness of the material is about .030".  You can also make
thicker and thinner pieces on a custom basis depending on the size of printer you have.
With the exception of the genuine tortoise shell designs all other examples shown are of smaller
swatches of the full sized pattern. A DVD of ALL the images I have for printing is also available.

The technology that I used for making pickguards using digital images is for sale. 
For a fee I will disclose all information, techniques, materials and sources including a CD of all digital
image files I use to make opaque or translucent pickguards. My process can be utilized with inkjet or
laser printers. This process can also be used to make pickguard material for electric guitars as well.
I have image files to simulate Gibson firestripe, the old Martin tortoise shells and real tortoise shells.
